Active participation in the masterclasses: students at conservatoires (higher education / music universities) and their graduates (church music, artistic organ playing)
Passive participation in the masterclasses: open to all who are interested.
The lectures and concerts are also aimed at the general public.
Active participation requires that participants attend the entire course and are prepared to play at the participants' concert (however, there is no entitlement to play at this concert).
You can book one or more classes/workshops from the eight classes and two workshops of the four academy phases. The classes /workshops do not take place in parallel. Admission to active participation is according to the date of receipt of registration.
12 active participants (Lennartz workshop 6, Berndt workshop 8 active participants) and an unlimited number of passive participants will be admitted to each masterclass.
The class languages are German and English.
*A maximum of 2 day tickets can be booked per phase.
Transfers to locations outside Leipzig are included in all prices.
1) Quantity discount for classes (not for workshops)!
2) Early bird discount
Example: If you book three ‘active participation’ classes in April, you only pay € 360.00 instead of € 450.00!
The class fee includes attendance at all events (courses, lectures and concerts) of the respective phase as well as transfers from Leipzig to the venues outside Leipzig.
After registering online, you will receive a booking confirmation with a request for payment by bank transfer (to the agency ‘Dreh- und Angelpunkt’, which manages the course fees for us) as well as some recommendations for accommodation in Leipzig.
If you would like to actively participate in the courses for which there is a waiting list, please register as a passive participant and write in ‘Remarks’ that you would like to actively participate. We will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
If you nominate a substitute participant who agrees to take part, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, the fee can only be partially refunded under the following conditions:
All transfers start and end at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater, Grassistraße 8.
Participants must book their own accommodation.
Active participants can practise on the HMT's practice organs. Lists will be kept at the Academy office.
