Study and examination achievements from previous studies or a study visit abroad can be recognized.
Please submit the application within the first 6 weeks of commencing your studies at the latest or immediately after you have completed your studies abroad.
The same applies to qualifications earned outside of your studies (e.g. through employment).
To apply, please make an appointment at the Examinations Office and bring the relevant certificates of achievement (transcript, module description, employment records) with you.
Examinations that have been registered or started can no longer be applied for recognition.

- Implementation of the adjustments in cooperation with the examiners/teachers involved and the Examinations Office
GRUNDSÄTZE ZUM NACHTEILSAUSGLEICH
A transcript of records is issued on request at the Examinations Office and is a detailed overview of completed coursework and examinations.
Please submit a copy (photo/scan) of your Study record ("Studienbuch") by email with your request and allow up to 14 days for it to be issued.
As a BAföG recipient, you must provide proof of the orderly progression of your studies after the 4th semester.The responsible office will request the form §48 of you. The Exams Office will complete the form on request.
At the end of the 4th semester, please submit your Study book (by e-mail as a scan or photo) with the signatures as prrof for your study progress accordung to the study plan by the 4 th semester.
The completed proof for Bafög will then be sent to you by email.
The examination results for artistic examinations are usually announced by the commission.
Further results for written examinations are sent to the Examinations Office, where you can request them and have them transferred to your student record book.
Notifications of failed examinations are always sent by post and also by e-mail. The relevant retake procedures are indicated.
The examination boards decide on fundamental questions of examination organization in the faculty.
Students who have acquired knowledge and skills in accordance with the study and examination regulations can obtain a university degree as an external student by examination. The examination boards decide on the application for admission to the examination, the examination procedure and the examinations to be taken, which must meet the requirements of the study and examination regulations.
External examinations are a subject to a fee in accordance with the fee regulations.
